We had a wonderful day at this hotel. The bed was super comfortable and it was really lovely to be able to sleep in a little bit. Everything is really clean and the location is very central. Hyesung at the front desk gave us awesome recommendations for karaoke places and was great!

I had the best experience celebrating my birthday at the Hyatt Regency Seattle! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt special and upscale. What really sets them apart is that they are incredibly pet-friendly it was so nice to be able to bring my service dog along for the celebration without any hassle. The rooms are stunning with amazing city views, and the staff truly went out of their way to make the birthday feel memorable. It’s rare to find a hotel that combines high-end luxury with such a welcoming attitude toward pets. If you’re looking for the perfect spot in downtown Seattle for a special occasion, this is it. I’ll definitely be back!

This is an expensive hotel, but if you're in the market for it I can't think of a better spot for a downtown Seattle vacation. Easy walking distance to multiple desirable spots, including Pike's Place and the needle. The room was well-appointed and clean, the staff was helpful and courteous, and the bathroom amenities met expectations. I was there for a conference, and it was also a good location for that, for what it's worth. The views of downtown Seattle from my room were nice as well, but that varies by room. Still, with its location I'd wager it's easy to get lucky on the view front. Overall I was pleased with my experience, and I'd consider this hotel first when I visit downtown Seattle again.

Michael at the front desk was delightful! He is friendly and is patient with questions. All staff members have shown a willingness to listen and to help. The food at the market cafe is alright. If you door dash and want it brought to your room instead, it will take about 20 minutes from the time it arrives I recommend going to get it. The hotel is spotless and very beautiful. I have a King bed and spacious room with a walk in shower. Tubs are available for accessibility in some rooms. I feel comfortable and at ease here. This hotel is quiet and cozy and I would definitely stay here again.

Terrific hotel! Modern rooms with lovely touches like a Bluetooth speaker. Friendly staff. Less closet/storage space than other hotels but that wasn’t a huge deal for me. Great views. Service at their bar Andare was also fantastic. The little market on the second floor was good for easy, grab and go coffee and food.

I have to say, one of the kindest Hyatt staff I've ever interacted with. We were welcomed by Chelsie at the front desk who made us feel welcomed and genuinely cared for. We also had trouble of someone putting a breakfast charge on our room, which the staff and manager took care of it for us after they investigated it and confirmed we didnt make it. The bed was also super comfy and the room decent! The reason why I removed 1 star is as follows: 1. Air Conditioning Position in the room: the AC vent was placed at a position where it was blowing air on one side of the bed. This made controlling the temp really weird as basically lowering the temp would make the person sitting on the AC side feel really cold. On the other hand, increasing the temp meant the other person on the side of the bed feel hot. We made it work at the end but I woke up the first day with bad tummy because of this. 2. Elevator Speed: I've wasted almost +30 mins in my 3 day stay waiting for the Elevator to come. The hotel was busy and a conference was happening but the problem seemed more so that they had limited elevators running in general. The situation improved by day 3 but it was a major annoyance for us at the start. Overall neither reasons would make me not stay here again or not recommend it. But I hope management takes note of this

I’m revising my review because they went out of their way to check in with me and make things right. I have to give them credit, they responded promptly and communicated clearly throughout. I would consider staying with them again when I return to Seattle for another work trip. ---------------------------- Old review below If you work at one of the nearby tech companies, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. On February 23, 2026 New York City experienced the worst blizzard in a decade, and all flights from my airport were canceled. I had a work trip scheduled to begin that night and was booked to stay here for the week. After multiple rebookings and cancellations, I took Amtrak from New York to Washington, DC to try to catch a flight to Seattle. The train then broke down in Philadelphia, forcing me to stay overnight and ultimately fly out from Philly instead. When I finally arrived in Seattle, I explained this rare and genuinely chaotic situation to the front desk. I was quickly dismissed and informed that I had been charged a no-show fee equivalent to one night’s stay. While disappointing, I proceeded with check-in. What made the experience worse was that immediately after charging me for a night I physically could not make due to a historic weather event, the front desk agent attempted to enroll me in the hotel’s loyalty program. The timing felt tone-deaf and inappropriate. At checkout, I again tried to express my dissatisfaction. The response was curt and dismissive, as though I was an inconvenience to be processed and moved along. I’ve already shared this experience with my colleagues so they’re aware of the level of service here and don’t have to deal with what I did. There are far better options nearby, and I won’t consider staying here again for future work trips.

Now I did not have the room my friend did. But I have 2 mention how lovely the rooms and the staff where. I was a big fan of the bathrooms and the sliding doors to said bathroom and closet. The rooms looked great!? And the staff where great so informative and helpful, super nice 2 boot. They let me rifle through the sticker bin knowing I wasn't the 1 with the room. Like I said so super nice. When I come for next year's Comicon I'll surely stay at the Hyatt!?
